Kirstin Herbst is a professional artist living in Toronto, Canada. She has over a decade of experience working in the film and television industry, on set and in the office. As a member of the Directors Guild of Canada (DGC), she is has worked on many iterations of the Star Trek Universe including multiple seasons of Star Trek Discovery, Strange New Worlds, and the Star Trek Discovery Shorts.

Kirstin’s artistic journey began out of a love of drawing Spider-man and has evolved over a lifetime of continuous learning. Whether using traditional mediums or digital, she is constantly on the hunt to learn new skills and techniques to improve her craft. These days, her focus is primarily on digital artwork, using 3D, photos and digital paint to create her imaginary worlds. Outside of her art, she enjoys spending time with her two children and has an enormous passion for video games.
